Art and fashion are brought together through the use of rich texture and detail. Annie's dress was inspired by the deep, gorgeous, periwinkle blue, dupioni silk. Accented with a celery green silk collar and cuffs. The dress, including the skirt, is lined to give it a luxurious drape and body.

Placed over her dress is a pinnie, constructed in light celery green felt. The delight of this creation, is the incredible detail that enhances the pinafore. Both cut work and a Victorian era embellishment called passimenterie, are employed here adding depth and dimension to Annie's total look. Her beautiful red curly mohair wig crowns her head giving an exciting accent to the overall look.

Standing 16 1/2" tall, Annie is fully jointed and poseable from her finger tips down to her ankles.

Maggie's eye for blending the softness of felt and the slight shimmer of silk, is showcased here in Josette's sumptuous attire. Her coat is composed of a rich silk brocade, lined in felt to give it the right weight, and embellished with handmade matching silk covered buttons.

She is ready to step out with her silk purse with added felt details. The striking strap over her shoulder reflects the deep plum of her suede shoes. Her ever so fashionable wool felted scarf, is just the right texture to compliment the silk jacket. The scarf perfectly frames her lovely face and is artfully hand died to match her ensemble. Fabulous felt, hand applied roses and leaves, embellish the creamy multi panelled felt skirt.
